Benvenuto!

Nonni DeDucca

My grandmother didn’t compromise when she cooked for her family. In her honor and in that same spirit Nonni’s Italian Kitchen & Pasta Shop strives to bring you Italian food in the same tradition! - Phil DeDucca

Welcome to the Nonni’s Italian Kitchen & Pasta Shop Homepage!

Among my earliest memories as a young boy growing up in an Italian neighborhood in Boston is sitting at my grandmother’s table for Sunday dinner. We called her “Nonni”. In those days dinner was an all day affair. My Nonni DeDucca, mother and aunts would spend most of the day preparing the ingredients for each Sunday’s feast. Homemade pastas, ravioli and gnocchi were just a few of the many dishes they prepared. All of them made with the best ingredients and care and served with the best homemade sauces, cheese and breads!

In the early afternoon, when everything was ready, Nonni or one of my aunts would call us to the table and the feast would begin. I vividly remember the aroma of the food and sounds of the table with my aunts, uncles and cousins joining together for a true family dinner. Today, I remember these moments as the stuff of dreams. They have influenced my life at home and now in the foods we prepare here at Nonni’s Italian Kitchen & Pasta Shop.

We start with the best ingredients and a commitment to quality to bring you foods that you could expect to purchase and eat in the heart of the old country. Whether you purchase some of our excellent pastas and sauces to prepare at home or you choose to dine with us or carry out, you can be sure of one thing: Nonni DeDucca would be proud of how we’re doing things, because we’re doing them her way. The old-fashioned way. The right way.
